Corporate Profile

April 2010

Fred Nolan is proud to announce the launch his new web site www.frednolan.com

Fred has been committed to the Australian and International ag aviation industry for almost 40 years, and has an extensive back ground in senior management with Australia’s largest and most respected aerial agricultural operations.  He has been intrinsically involved in all facets of Australian, New Zealand and SE Asian ag aviation as well as commercial air charter and Pilot Training operations. His background includes aerial agriculture, flight instruction, air charter (including Australian Coast Watch), helicopter operations, aircraft engineering, product support as well as aircraft and equipment sales.

He established the highly successful distribution and product support system for the Ayres Thrush and Satloc GPS marking systems as well as one of the few authorised TPE331Ag Service Centres worldwide, linking key manufacturers, industry bodies and specialised equipment suppliers into one marketing initiative.

Fred has twice served as President of the Aerial Agricultural Association of Australia and remains its longest serving Director.  Through the AAAA, he had contributed significantly to transforming the image and standards of ag aviation, from the crop duster to the modern day professional ag pilot. Significantly, he has been involved in much of the innovative equipment and reform introduced to the industry in recent years establishing new standards of air safety, BMP and operations which are now considered industry benchmarks.

Now, he will put his experience to help people to achieve their ambition of becoming a pilot in sport aviation. As Chief Flying Instructor, he offers pilot training for the Recreational Aviation Australia’s (RAA) Pilot Certificate in the Jabiru J170C aircraft, in conjunction with the Moree Aero Club

Owning two Ford Mustangs, he will share the enthusiasm of sourcing, importing, restoring and operating his 1968 GT390 Fastback and the 1969 428CJ-R Cobra Jet Mach 1 big block muscle cars. As a member of the Moree Motor Enthusiast Club www.mmec.org.au, he will share the fun of owning, displaying and operating a wide range of vintage vehicles promoted by the Club and its activities.

This new web site will be progressively developed to provide an extensive range of Aviation and Ford Mustang related information services.
